If you are employed in the Netherlands, you should earn at least the minimum wage. As of 1 July 2008, the gross minimum wage is 1.356,60 euros per month for a full-time worker.
The task of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment is to encourage employment, modern industrial relations and an activating social security system.
